We are pleased to announce the launch of PDBe's new website, which makes it easier than ever to find and explore the rich information about biomacromolecular structures available in the PDB, EMDB and EMPIAR archives.
Driven by user-experience research, our responsive, interactive interface helps expert and non-expert users explore biomacromolecular structure data with integrated views showing sequence, topology and structure information. Our new and powerful search system makes it easy to pinpoint the structures that are relevant to you and to select the best-quality structure, as you can sort by a compound quality score.
With our colleagues at Europe PMC we mine the scientific literature to enrich our PDB entry pages with figures and captions from open-access publications, summarising salient details of the structure. Furthermore, we show you publications that mention a particular PDB entry even if the parent publication is not cited or if the structure was never published. As always, we would be very pleased to hear your feedback on our updated service.
